Sr. Project Manager

This director-level position will work with and be the point of contact for a number of external groups that provide design, art, and engineering services for Kaos.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Approval of schedule and deliveries with external teams/vendors
  • Identify risks and work with the contractor on mitigation planning
  • Weekly project report containing risks, mitigations and variance from schedule
  • Primary approval of work completed by external groups

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computing, art, design, or related fields

Knowledge & Skills:

  • 10+ Years of game production experience
  • 5+ Years of project management or development direction experience
  • Guru with MS Project and similar project tracking tools
  • Guru with MS Office suite and similar productivity tools
  • Expert proficiency in written and verbal English
  • Demonstrated production leadership through numerous product cycles, including multi-sku projects, on console and PC, including all current and next generation hardware
  • Extensive knowledge of game industry trends in game design, hardware, software, and production practices
  • Extensive knowledge of studio finance and operations
  • Ability to motivate teams and evangelize initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of project development techniques, including agile development
  • Broad technical skills
  • Expert working with Legal and a proven understanding of legal contracts and forms. Able to provide constructive feedback on contracts.
