Multiplayer Programmer

Job Requirements:

  • Design and help implement Multiplayer specific systems for game titles(S).
  • Prototype game concepts and architectures, working closely with the development team.
  • Creating new systems, extending existing components for the Unreal 3 engine.
  • Programmers must be able to follow the technical direction of the Lead Programmer, and help assist other programmers as needed.
  • Understanding of the fundamental networking architecture and client-server models.
  • Previous experience writing game network code using TCP/IP and UDP stacks is a PLUS!
  • Experience handling bandwidth, latency and synchronization issues is a plus.
  • Experience developing on Xbox360, PS3, Wii, PC or previous generation platforms is a plus.
  • Solid C/C++ skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to adapt.

Education/Relevant Experience:

  • Game Programming.
  • Xbox Live Programming a plus.
  • Wii or PS3 online experience a plus.
  • Computer science or similar degree, or comparable experience.
