Senior Gameplay Programmer

Kaos Studios is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our programming team in New York City!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop AI and Game Play systems for the game engine within schedule.
  • Works closely with Single Player Supervisor and Game Designers.
  • Participates in Design and Code reviews.
  • Create systems that achieve game design goals.
  • Create technology that can be re-used and extended in the future.
  • Work with other team members to identify, define and solve problems.
  • Work with external technology as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • BS in CS or EE or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of game programming experience with at least 1 shipped product.
  • Strong knowledge of C++.
  • Experience with Unreal 3 a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented to be able to quickly identify issues and resolve them.
  • Must demonstrate ownership and can follow through on all responsibilities.
  • Self motivated with strong work ethics.
  • Thrives in a team environment.
